Chad Michael Murray Welcomes Baby Girl with Beautiful Announcement: “I’ll Never Let Go”

It’s safe to say that during that first decade of the new millennium, actor Chad Michael Murray was one of the biggest heartthrobs around. And now, here we are 14 years later and our love for the former One Tree Hill star is stronger than ever — especially after yesterday.

On March 13, Murray and his wife Sarah Roemer welcomed their second child into the world, and Murray took to Instagram late Monday evening to share news of her arrival. He posted the sweetest photo of his little girl’s hand wrapped around his finger with words that were just as moving:

“Don’t worry little girl you can hold on as tight as you want for as long as you want, I’m already yours and I’ll never let go.”

The Instagram post then goes on to say, “[I now have] two incredible women in my life. My son and I are two lucky guys.”

(Swoon.)

With an adoring father like that in her life, this little girl is one lucky little lady. We can only imagine how excited their two-year-old son will be to meet his newborn sister. (Let’s just hope that these two don’t end up competing for spots on their school basketball team like some other siblings we know … )

But, let’s not fool ourselves, Murray is a pro when it comes to declaring his love for the women in his life. Only a few weeks ago, he posted this stunning photo of a very pregnant Roemer on Instagram, writing “She Always Glows … To Me – My wife, My friend, Me Amore. It ain’t Valentines but who needs an excuse to proclaim their love.”

The pair started dating while on the set of their TV series, Chosen, and wed in 2015.

The dad-of-two first shared the exciting news of their growing family in November, and opened up to Entertainment Tonight in July about how being a father is the greatest thing that has ever happened to him.

“Having kids is a game changer and I think you’re always walking around with the mentality that you want to make sure that they’re proud and you want to represent them well and just be a great leader.”

The weight of responsibility does feel much heavier once you’re a parent. And as a father to a little girl, it’s as important as ever to be a guiding light for her; teaching her not only how men should treat women, but also how they should be respected and valued.

Murray, if your social media poetry is any indication of the recognition and praise you shower upon the women in you life, we think you’re doing just fine. If I was a betting woman, I’d say that your little girl have you wrapped around her little finger in no time.
