#GivingTuesday comes to Philly
First there was Black Friday. Then there was Cyber Monday, and now there is #GivingTuesday, a day for giving back. Started in 2011, #GivingTuesday encourages individuals to support their favorite nonprofit this holiday season.
This year, we partnered with Ten Thousand Villages to raise money in support of our programs. Eight Ten Thousand Villages locations including Delaware and New Jersey came together for a community shopping event in which we received 15% of the sales. Additionally, a donor has agreed to match up to $4,000.
