When one 6-year-old girl was asked by her aunt if she’d be the flower girl in her upcoming wedding, she took the role very seriously.
In fact, Niamh Heneghan started a to-do list before the big day — December 27 — so she can be prepared.
“Last Sunday, I saw her writing this to-do list and I asked her what she was doing,” her father Richie told ABC News. “And she said, ‘I’m just doing my to-do list!’ And I said, ‘Why?’ And she said, ‘In case I forget anything.’
“She’s exceptionally excited about the whole thing. It’s her first time being a flower girl,” her father added.
Heneghan’s to-do list includes very important items for any flower girl, including “practice walking down the aisle,” which is on the weekly to-do list five times. She also has “workout,” “sew a cardigan and a dress” along with “ask is it o.k. for Ava to come over!”
Richie Heneghan, 43, said he shared the adorable to-do list on his Facebook page because he “thought it was funny.” And it quickly got attention.
“She’s such a character,” the Castlebar, Ireland, man said of his daughter, adding that she’ll make a perfect flower girl when the big day comes.
“She’s passionate about everything that she gets involved in,” he said.
