Who hasn’t dreamt of being part of the wizarding world, awaiting the Hogwarts acceptance letter on their 11th birthday? Well, thanks to one cool mom, a lucky baby became a wizard for a day.
Illinois-based photographer Kayla Glover decided to create a Harry Potter-themed shoot for her daughter’s 3-month photos. Kayla has been a Potterhead since she was young and envisioned this photo shoot before even giving birth to Lorelai Grace. But she needed to wait for her daughter to be at the right age to hold a wand.
Luckily Lorelai has always been a good baby, so splitting up the shoot into two short sessions wasn’t too hard. Her husband helped out, keeping the costume and props in order, and Kayla was able to capture the adorable photos.
It definitely helps that Kayla sees a little bit of Harry in Lorelai with the big eyes and constantly messy hair. And wrapping her up in a Gryffindor scarf, with a pair of round glasses and wand, makes for the perfect picture. Kayla still owns all of the original books and added a cauldron to the shoot for an extra magical touch.
We’ve been deprived of the wizarding world for too long, so this little Potter made our day!
