At this point, we’re sure you’ve at least caught a glimpse of the athletic competition show known as American Ninja Warrior. With a title like that, you just know it’s going to be an action-packed hour of television. The contestants race across the playing field, leaping over objects, scaling walls, and vaulting over bodies of water to try and have the quickest finishing time.
This certainly doesn’t sound like a kid-friendly activity, but one crafty dad has made his little ninja warrior-wannabe’s dreams come true with an epic backyard version of the competition. Lylah McCall is clearly a fan of the show, as she expertly completes the series of obstacles her dad, Gavin, has put together for her.
The best part about this video? It’s certainly a toss up between Dad’s commentary and the stuffed animal “crowd.” McCall’s comments could easily pass for a professional’s, as he seriously notes, “Onto the zip line, once again she has a lot of her stuffed animal friends out here to cheer her on at the course today … and here she goes!” It’s both adorable and hilarious.
If you want to watch Lylah take on more epic backyard ninja challenges, feel free to donate to the family’s GoFundMe page set up for her ninja warrior training.
We’re just waiting for the day American Ninja Warrior Junior is created — we know of one little girl who will certainly be prepared.
